Flower Fly (Epistrophe grossulariae)
The Flower Fly (Epistrophe grossulariae) is a common wasp-like, European Hoverfly which feeds on various plants including Hogweed from May to October. Like similar species, its wings feature a false vein or Venu spuria distinguishing it from wasps.
